On May 23, a group of gut health enthusiasts gathered in the heart of South Kensington for a vegan dinner focused around prebiotics and probiotics. Guests were welcomed at The South Kensington Club restaurant with gin and kombucha cocktails which started the night off with a dose of gut loving live micro-organisms.
The Gut Stuff co-founders Lisa and Alana Macfarlane a.k.a The Mac Twins shared their gut journey through science and twin research with guests before the dinner kicked off with Avocado and Puffed Rice and Paprika Tapioca.
Food and conversation flowed easily during the following courses which included Fermended Greens and Miso Chilli, Broccoli and Tofu Wakame topped off with Coconut Pana Cotta with Mango and Passion Fruit.
Dinner was peppered with gutsy games, stomach acid testers, shots of probiotic and a DJ set from the twins to dance off the food at the end of the night.
