workplace wellness
We can help you by empowering gut health and wellbeing knowledge in your team.
At The Gut Stuff we work hard to make sure our information is available to all, it’s pretty bold and it’s certainly easy to digest. So why do we need to be talking to businesses when we speak directly to consumers?
We saw a DIRECT need to reach people that:
- Would not come across us and/or haven’t even thought about gut health
- Don’t know that their gut health is potentially linked to their life or experiences
Research has shown that 17 million working days were lost in 2021/22 due to stress, anxiety and mental health alone (LFS). Coupled with this, 70% of employers highlighted the challenge of ensuring staff were staying well both physically and mentally while working remotely (People Management and CIPD).
The lines between work/life balance have never been so blurred, which is why it’s is now the direct responsibility of employers to ensure their staff are not only focusing on their wellness, but are given access to other businesses, experts and information to help them do so.
our pledge
Not only this, but we believe businesses’ investment not only needs to extend beyond the metaphorical walls of offices and into homes, but to a new group of minds too. With every talk you book us for, we pledge to do the same talk in a school, community or university of your choosing. Free of charge. Double the guts, twice the impact.

lovely words from past clients
We ran a month of wellbeing events and talks recently and had two talks featured from the Gut Stuff which were both truly brilliant. Both were incredibly insightful and informative, well attended by our employees who gave brilliant feedback. The talk on hybrid working was really well timed as we are currently developing our approach, and it landed very well in particular. Michelle was a total legend; she was helpful, kind and on it! Thanks The Gut Stuff – I really recommend them!
As a brand that’s passionate about loving our guts, we wanted a fun and engaging way to help our bakery staff look after their guts better. The Gut Stuff delivered this in spades. Their presentation was funny, informative and really engaging. Afterwards, some teams started competing to see who could get to 30 different types of fruit and veg a week first! If you want happier, healthier staff, get them to look after their guts and get The Gut Stuff in!
Wellbeing and health are so important to us here at Avenue, so it was no question that we had to partner up with Lisa and Alana to teach our apprentices all about the importance of gut health. The Mac Twins have so much passion, knowledge and drive and their energy immediately fills the room. The workshop was insightful, mind-opening and full of humour. The Gut Stuff is a truly empowering brand that really sets them apart in the gut health space.
I’m always looking for interesting wellness topics and engaging teams to work with. After I found The Gut Stuff I looked no further! Kristy and Lisa were absolutely amazing presenters and shared ‘easy to digest’ facts about how important gut health truly is and gave us lots of tangible tips. Who knew talking about poo could bring a team closer together?! I thoroughly recommend!
Whilst it was a serious subject, The Gut Stuff Team fresh from being on Sky TV, did a great job at keeping the session fun & informative. The post webinar survey results & feedback were very positive. The final challenge was to take one learning from the webinar and build it into a habit that improves one’s life.
Thanks so much to the Gut Health for an engaging, fun and informative chat about all things gut health. The talk was pitched at the right level with bite sized advice and things to implement easily. Nothing complicated, factual and really helpful.
I had the pleasure of joining one of The Gut Stuff sessions earlier this month and it was so inspirational and informative – thank you! I can’t believe how in the past I haven’t taken the time to understand food and how my body works with the food I eat. The session showed me how to introduce healthier habits into my diet and which foods encourage a healthier lifestyle and living. Some really great practical tips which I was able to start implementing directly after the session.
The Gut Stuff have provided highly engaging talks that are completely unique to other competitors in the industry. This is why we have utilised them for a number of different events. We are invested in promoting the health and wellbeing of our people and believe TGS provide the optimal way to achieve this message. If you are after a captivating and original perspective on nutrition and health I would highly recommend booking The Gut Stuff to improve your organisation.
The girls were so insightful and full of fact-based information which was perfectly in touch with our audience. Each presentation they delivered for us was informative, relatable and crammed with helpful tips to support each participant. Often we find health-based talks can be quite slow, but the twins and Kristy ensured that our guests stayed engaged throughout by including polls and an excellent Q&A.
During Mental Health Awareness week we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity for The Gut Stuff to run a workshop at Nottingham Trent University for staff and students, which was a great success. It was very well received and we had a keen audience who learnt a lot about gut health and it’s relationship to mental health. The team’s delivery was spot on.
We’ve been big fans of everything The Gut Stuff have been doing for many years now and have huge respect for all they have achieved. Their messages and delivery are spot on and they have played a huge role in helping bring gut health to the forefront of people’s minds. This webinar was a great opportunity for us to reach new audiences and the feedback we received has been tremendous. It really has helped us extend our reach and we look forward to collaborating with the team again.
The Gut Stuff team were outstanding at our company session today. They did a brilliant job of translating the science of the gut into language, messages and stories that everyone in the room understood and related to. They were also incredibly human, authentic and funny. Everyone left the session energised, informed and thinking hard about what they should eat for lunch!
We were lucky enough to have The Gut Stuff run a workshop at NTU. So many of the students and staff have already fed back about how it really helped them reassess their relationship to food and its impact on their mental health, particularly in light of the pressures we’re all facing at the moment.
Thank you so much to Alana, Lisa and Kristy for presenting on all things gut health for my students. The feedback has been great. It was so engaging and they made a complex topic easy to understand. I can’t wait to welcome them back to UCB.
Our colleagues at Accenture loved the talk from The Gut Stuff. They squeezed a lot of content into such a short time and gave us really actionable steps we could take to improve our gut health. They put a spotlight on some of the key lifestyle and dietary changes that influence our gut and in turn the integrity of our gut health to different physical functions and mental health.
