Gut health doesn’t have to be about super expensive magic pills, overpriced consultations or teas made from unicorn hair. It starts with learning, tuning in, going back to basics and creating GOOD GUT HABITS.

We’ve grown an expert team of scientists, dieticians, nutritionists and doctors to keep us all on the right side of the tracks and arm us with the FACTS, so you can make decisions that are right for you, and *disclaimer*, it’s not elitist, inaccessible or expensive.

One thing we quickly learnt, and are so passionate about sharing, is that gut health goes hand in hand with our overall health and well-being.

one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to gut health, and we should know!

Unfortunately, there isn’t (and probably never will be) a magic bullet for good gut health, mainly because it’s so personalised.

When we had our guts analysed over five years ago as part of the British Gut Project, we discovered that despite having 100% of the same DNA, our guts shared only 30% of the same microbiome which could explain why our bodies behave so differently.

Since then we’ve each made small, sustainable changes to both our lifestyles and diets which have put us in the top 10% of guts in the UK! And that’s after starting in the bottom 10%… 🎵 started from the bottom, now we’re here 🎵

We used to think health was about not “being ill” and nutrition was all about looking good on the outside. We’d done every fad diet under the sun, including the cabbage soup diet pre-Magaluf 2005 (remember that?) and grew up in Scotland eating deep-fried pizza and chips, plus all of Edinburgh’s supply of Yum Yums.

We were also DJs (The Mac Twins) in our previous life so we couldn’t have been further from the health and wellness world, but as soon as we realised how important gut health is we wanted to shout it from the rooftops!
